“It was a lovely trip. Tony the guide was extremely knowledgeable - told us really interesting facts, some that were quite amusing, lots of things I knew nothing about. Took the time to take photographs for us. Lots of great Beatles tracks playing in between his stories. All in all a very enjoyable 2 hours ending up near the Cavern Club. Would highly recommend this trip.”
“Booked this for a treat for our daughter’s 14th birthday as she’s an avid Beatles fan. We all throughly enjoyed the tour, we all stopped off at the birthplace of George Harrison and the childhood homes of Paul McCartney, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane. We went past Ringo Starr’s and John Lennon’s house plus more interesting places along the way. The price is really worth it, tour lasted around 2 hours. Robin the tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly plus Dennis the bus driver was great. We got free entry to cavern club with or bus tickets which we really enjoyed plus 15% off food in the cavern restaurant which we also enjoyed and food was great. Overall a brilliant experience.”
Great experience with a fun atmosphere. Informative and friendly guide Robin did a fantastic job and Dave the driver was funny as well! Good stops (and length of time spent at each was right) and of course brilliant music. I would recommend this to any fan who wants to see the city and learn a bit more about the Beatles. Value for fun was good, especially with the Cavern Club tickets. Overall excellent, we had a great time! Thanks
Great day out supported by Del our Tour Guide and Den our driver. Really different day. My husband is the Beatles real fan but even he found out some new facts. I was amazed as even though we are from Liverpool it was so good so see how people on the tour are amazed by our city. There were many families from Belfast and also New York! Felt humbled. The scouse knowledge and humour were throughout the tour from Del and Den - a day to remember

The Magical Mystery Tour is Liverpool’s original scheduled Beatles sightseeing tour. Established in 1983 by Cavern City Tours, the owners of the world‑famous Cavern Club, it has played a pioneering role in shaping the Beatles tourism industry.
The original tour operated on vintage Bedford VAL buses, painted in the same colourful psychedelic livery made famous by the Beatles’ film Magical Mystery Tour. Cavern City Tours once owned the original film bus itself, now long retired and proudly displayed as a centrepiece outside the Hard Rock Cafe in Florida.
